Becca, our Beacon Hill native, is closing out her summer at Crush and heading back to Washington University in St. Louis. While she’s sad to leave–and we hate to let her go–she is going back to school armed with fashion essentials. We just can’t let her skip off to the Midwest without sharing a few of her style tips.
When I’m dressing for class, I always aim for comfort. If I have to sit through a two-hour lecture, I don’t want to be fidgeting with uncomfortable fabrics. That does not mean I have to sacrifice style to stay cozy. A printed Bella Dahl and Joe’s grey skinnies are a given. To add some extra flair, I pair them with my favorite House of Harlow Sunburst, and I’m ready to go! Getting ready takes almost no time, and I still feel confident and fashionable.
With so many sorority and fraternity events, a formal dress is a must have for my fall wardrobe. Parker does a phenomenal job with their beaded dresses, and this one is stunning. The heavier weight of the dress causes it to hang in all the right places and the beading is exquisite. With a pair of nude heels, I’m good to go!
Every college girl needs an essential look for a night out on the town. For me, that’s a silk top and J Brand dark wash jeans. This Rory Beca tank is lightweight and comfortable, and the color is a perfect transitional shade of red. With its scoop-neck style, I like to pair it with a House of Harlow Station Necklace for a bit of edge!
